July and August are peak months to visit Breda, with tourists from Europe and North America visiting during their summer breaks. The weather is balmy, generally warm during the day, with temperatures often reaching the mid-20s°C (mid-70s°F). However, there can be cooler days with temperatures dropping to the low teens°C (mid-50s°F) during the evenings and nights.

Participants are advised to wear business casual for all meeting functions and programmes.

The currency used in the Netherlands is the Euro (€).
You can compare your local currency to the EUR HERE.

There are a few ways to easily make your way between these two locations. If the weather allows it, then it is a brief 20-minute walk between the church and the university.

Otherwise, there are a few bus connections you can take to make your way from the city centre to the university and the other way around:

– To go by public transport, you have to walk (5 minutes) to the bus station in the city centre (next to the McDonalds) and take one of the following buses to Central Station: 119, 115, 311, 312, 316, 7, 2, 4, or 6. From the Central Station, there are three buses you can take to the University – Bus 5 to Heusdenhout, Bus 8 to St. Ignatiusstraat, or Bus 7 to Heusdenhout. All three of those buses stop at the bus stop U on the Central Station, so just follow the signs on the pillars and you will find the location where the bus will stop.

From the University to the Grote Kerk, you can take bus 5 or 7 to the Central Station from the other side of the street next to BUas. And from the Central Station, take the bus 119, 115, 311, 312, 316, 7, 2, 4, or 6 back to the city centre.

Breda is a city that beautifully combines rich history with modern vibrancy. Experience its unique charm and culture, discover quirky, artistic places, and have fun! Find more information on our dedicated page HERE.
